This book is the first in a series that focuses on a series of newspaper clippings chronologically arranged from the time the murders were discovered, to the death of Lizzie Borden, and testimony transcripts. This will provide readers with a way to view the Lizzie Borden story in the manner in which it was viewed by the public at the time: through the newspapers.
Despite the modern technology of the 21st century, news still traveled quickly in the 1890s, and the Borden murders cemented the public’s disbelief and mystery to this day. We hope you’ll join us for an overnight stay and tour at the Borden House, which has been largely restored to its original layout and furniture from August 4, 1892.
